Using a natural pre-shave oil can elevate your shaving routine.  This specially formulated oil serves as a great moisturizer and will help in the reduction of hair bumps, help prevent ingrown hairs, minimize razor bumps, soften and hydrate skin, and helps decrease the number of cuts and shaving nicks. 

While pre-shave oil will serve to lubricate the skin before your shave, you don't want to apply it directly to wet skin but rather damp or slightly dry skin, as dripping wet skin will dilute the oil.

Purpose of pre-shave oil:  It adds an extra layer of protection against cuts, nicks, and irritated skin. The idea is that it precedes applying a men's shaving gel. Pre-shave oil makes the whole shaving process more comfortable - it protects, hydrates, and lubricates your skin before shaving.
